Experience the world’s first and only holistically packaged, collapsable, pogo-stick chair. Holistically packaged furniture maximizes utility and minimizes waste. This is done by repurposing all parts of the packaging into the users final product. In this example the collapsible pogo-stick chair uses every component of its packaging once received. The bag it’s delivered in turns inside out and transforms into the seat. This design embodies a zero-waste approach to packaging. What better use for these ideas than a pogo-stick chair?
Details and Parts
The bottom Pogo-stick is three layers of telescopic pipe. They fit together tightly, with a spring mounted inside for bouncing, and a spring button inside for collapsing. The seat arms rotate together using two small internal gears. The packaging(seat) is then flipped inside out, and the closing pins that sealed the bag are inserted into the metal handles. Webbing is sewed into the bag and around pins for extra support.
